Bound by Starlight
@qwerty
Hey! I’m looking for a fantasy M4F story with adventure, emotional tension, and a touch of fate-driven romance. My character is a former knight who broke his sacred oath to protect the royal line after a tragic betrayal. He’s been living in exile for years, believed dead — until the kingdom faces a new threat, and he’s reluctantly pulled back into the world he abandoned. Your character is a mage (or priestess, scholar, etc.) chosen by prophecy to wield ancient magic tied to the stars. The problem? Her magic only works when bound by a “guardian’s vow,” and the only one capable of forging that bond… is him. They don’t trust each other at first — she sees him as a disgraced knight, he sees her as a naïve believer in destiny. But as their fates intertwine, the bond between them deepens — not just magically, but emotionally. I’m hoping for a slow-burn story filled with adventure, magic, and growing affection — the kind where the connection feels earned. Lots of tension, danger, late-night talks by campfires, and that feeling that they were never meant to meet… but now can’t imagine being apart.

More Than Words
@one_more_prompt
Hey! I’m looking for a modern M4M roleplay focused on slow-burn romance, emotional connection, and real character chemistry. My character is a quiet novelist who’s been struggling with writer’s block for over a year. He moves to a small coastal town hoping for inspiration — or at least some peace and quiet. Instead, he ends up renting an apartment above a noisy little café owned by your character. At first, he’s irritated by the constant noise, the smell of roasted beans, and your character’s annoyingly charming personality. But as days pass, the café becomes his new writing spot, and your character slowly becomes the one person who brings him back to life — with warmth, laughter, and a stubborn refusal to leave him alone. I want this story to have a cozy, heartfelt tone — something that builds naturally. A mix of gentle teasing, emotional vulnerability, and that feeling of “I didn’t expect to fall for you, but here we are.” We can add side drama (a past heartbreak, a rival café, or the pressure of fame if one’s well-known). But mostly, I’m after a story that feels real — two people helping each other heal and grow.

Falling for My Fake Girlfriend
@one_more_prompt
Hey! I’m looking for a modern M4F slow-burn romance centered around a fake dating scenario. Here’s the idea — My character, Ethan, is a quiet, slightly awkward software engineer who just got invited to his ex’s wedding. He doesn’t want to show up alone, so out of desperation, he asks his neighbor (your character) to pretend to be his girlfriend for the weekend. It’s meant to be simple — just a favor, a few fake smiles, and some small talk to keep up appearances. But as the weekend goes on, things start feeling a little too real. There’s chemistry, tension, and that unspoken “is this still fake?” energy building between them. I’m aiming for something that mixes light humor with emotional moments — cozy, character-driven, and genuine. Lots of slow-burn tension, soft moments, and maybe a bit of heartbreak before the happy ending.
